Westpac creates new campaign from past ads, season two of Air Rescue premieres tomorrow

Westpac has unveiled a new brand campaign which sees the bank utilise elements from a number of past marketing campaigns as it highlights its ‘Everything that makes Australia, Australia, is proudly supported by Westpac’ positioning.

Beginning with shots of the many landscapes that make up Australia, narration talks through the ideas that make up Australia that Westpac supports, with the ad drawing on shots from past campaigns, including its nighttime economy spot and a reference to its Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Service.

The new campaign comes ahead of tomorrow night’s launch of series two of Air Rescue on Seven which is a documentary TV series following the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Service.

It airs tomorrow night at 8pm.

It also follows on from the bank’s head of marketing services Lisa Ronson being named as Tourism Australia’s new chief marketing officer.
