Westpac, Uber and Microsoft marketing executives to join 2024 APAC Fellowship Program

The latest cohort of CMOs and growth leaders selected for The Marketing Academy APAC Fellowship Program has been revealed.

The program is designed by the highly respected non-profit organisation exclusively for CMOs to develop the skills to transition to a CEO or broader C-suite role.

Successful 2024 candidates include Claire Pinel, senior marketing director frontline ASEAN and South Pacific at The Coca-Cola Company; Jo Boundy, chief marketing officer at Commonwealth Bank Australia; Susan Coghill, chief marketing officer at Tourism Australia; Lucinda Barlow, international head of marketing at Uber and more.

The program is sponsored by Salesforce and supported by McKinsey & Company, board-level coaching organisation Wisdom8, Oscar Trimboli, and marketing leadership expert Thomas Barta, who is also the Global Dean of the program.

The program has been running in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the USA for the past ten years, and 2024 marks the second year in the APAC region.

The curriculum includes three immersive residential events and masterclasses covering all elements of board stewardship, including strategy, corporate finance, organisational health, leading transformational change, operational effectiveness, and stakeholder influence.

Fellows also benefit from mentoring, enabling them to spend one-on-one time with seasoned board members and are assigned an executive coach for the duration of the program.
