What every social media expert needs: non-explosive handcream
From the looks of the final tweet from Mindshare’s global social media guru Ciaran Norris, his post-Adtech departure from Sydney Airport was not entirely smooth.
Somewhat plaintively, he tweeted:
“Sat in Sydney’s Departure Terminal after customs excitement: technology that mistakes hand-cream for explosives is not technology I trust”
If nothing else, Dr Mumbo salutes Norris’s willingness to own up to using handcream, and hopes the ensuing body search wasn’t too intrusive.
Whilst I’m happy to own up to using handcream (it makes them so soft!) it was actually my girlfriend that got pulled aside. Luckily they didn’t see the need to go invasive so we’ve left with happy memories. I’m also happy to say that our transit through Bangkok airport has been entirely pain free – hopefully I’ll be able to catch up with you next time I’m in Sydney – I might even let you borrow my handcream.
