When PRs play God
Dr Mumbo was prone to tune out during art history class, which is one in a very long line of reasons to help explain his confusion when he stumbled across two images on Neil Shoebridge and Andrew Knowles’ SKMG website.
The duo have taken it upon themselves to reimagine Michelangelo’s The Creation of Adam with ex-Ten comms boss Shoebridge as a pen-touting God. Knowles stars as Adam, a MacBook strategically covering his netherregions.
Another image featured on the SKMG site failed to compute due to an aforementioned lack of skill in the art history department.
Dr Mumbo only hopes Knowles is planning on wearing more clothes during client meetings.
Great to see someone [Edited under Mumbrella’s comment moderation policy]. Good luck.

There are so many weird and slightly creepy potential meanings to both images – what a strange way to promote a professionals services business.

Don’t know about the images but their confusing copy desperately needs an edit…
“Shoebridge Knowles Media Group (SKMG) is in a unique position to confidently present clients with the tools to achieve communication excellence, as redefined by SKMG’s partners for a shifting market that demands both intimate experience in the world of conventional media and the savvy ability required to navigate emerging digital and social landscapes.
The dual experience of SKMG’s partners presents an uncommon diversity that covers an entire spectrum of knowledge in conventional and disruptive media outlets. This allows access to non-traditional avenues of communication between conventional and emerging media landscapes, while assuring the traditional media requirements of the client are not only met but exceeded.”
