When your customers don’t want to hold
This site appears to have been around for a while, but now the twitterati has got hold of it, it’s likely to gain some traction, much to the fear of Australia’s big brands.
Ihateholding.com is a directory of Australia’s biggest companies, and provides direct dial numbers that consumers can use to beat call centre queues.
It offers tips on the code numbers to tap in to get straight to a senior supervisor, or at the very least a real call handler.
Users can also share their advice. With Telstra, for example, it’s simple: “Make sure you have a spare hour or so spare”.
