Winter Olympics opening ceremony scores 938,000 viewers
Friday’s Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games opening ceremony live from Pyeongchang Olympic Stadium saw 938,000 metro viewers tune into Seven’s coverage.
Airing at 8.30pm, the opening ceremony managed 1.221m nationally, however not all viewers were happy with some taking to social media to criticise commentators and the number of ad breaks.

What whingers.
They get to see a world-class sporting event that costs them … oh, that’s right – nothing.
But they don’t want commentators talking or ad breaks as it disrupts their viewing … yet they have the time to tweet their first-world grievances.
