With Collective GM, Adam Parsons, exits a week after Isobar merger

The general manager of With Collective, Adam Parsons, is exiting the business today, after the brand was consumed by Isobar last week.

Parsons has been in the role for almost three years, and with the company for almost six, joining from M&C Saatchi.

He took to LinkedIn to thank founders Justin Hind and Dominique Hind, who exited as CEO and COO upon the merger, for their support.

“I was fortunate enough to work alongside you both and broaden my role from client services into a commercial, operational and managerial role and couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks for taking a punt on me,” Parsons said.

“What a journey it has been, but it feels like the right time.”

He added that his next move would hopefully be client-side.

“Now for something new. I’m looking to make the move client-side, but first, some time off with the family and a hell of a lot of surfing,” he said.

With Collective was founded in 2010 and acquired by the Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) in 2016. It was formally linked to Isobar in 2017, to become part of the new ‘Isobar ANZ Group’ with Isobar, Accordant, Davanti, and SMG.

As part of the merger, Isobar CEO Erik Hallander has expanded his remit to lead With Collective, which will rebrand to Isobar Australia.

The deal was the latest move in Henry Tajer’s restructure of the holding group, but his overhaul came to an abrupt end yesterday when the CEO was ousted by DAN’s regional leadership team less than a year into the role.

“I believe this is the right decision for the network and market,” Ashish Bhasin, DAN’s APAC CEO who was appointed to his role in September, said in a statement.
