Women’s Fitness partners with national gym chain in content share deal

Women's FitnessWomen’s Fitness will share its content with gym brand Anytime Fitness in an effort to expose the Women’s Fitness brand to its members.

The partnership between Collective Media, on behalf of Anytime Fitness, and Women’s Fitness publisher Citrus Media will supply Women’s Fitness health, fitness and lifestyle content across Anytime Fitness’ social media and digital content offerings.

Collective Media general manager, Andrew Sneddon, said: “At Collective Media, we wanted to partner with local publishers with strong international brands, an interest in long-term partnerships and an innovative approach to marketing.

“We’ve been working successfully with Men’s Fitness over the last two years and wanted to find the equivalent in the female space. While evaluating the market place, we noted the consistent performance of Women’s Fitness and approached them.”

Citrus Media bought Women’s Fitness from Bauer Media in October 2014.

Publisher of Women’s Fitness, Steve Maidens said: “Our partnership with Anytime Fitness aligns perfectly with our ‘Fitness that fits your life’ philosophy and our easy-to-adopt exercise, nutrition and lifestyle ideas. Women’s Fitness is excited to deliver our unique approach to health and exercise to a new audience of over 435,000 Anytime Fitness members.”
