WPP reveals strong profits

Global communications giant WPP has reported some of its most positive figures of recent years.

According to WPP’s preliminary results for 2011, revenue grew by 7.4% with growth across all regions and business sectors. The company broke through £10bn in revenues for the first time. Headline EBITDA profits grew by 14%.

The Europe-based company said that it was forecasting 4% revenue growth for 2012.   

WPP companies in Australia include the Group M media agencies, ad agencies Grey, JWT, Wunderman, Ogilvy & Mather and Y&R and PR companies  Burson-Marsteller, Cohn & Wolfe and Hill & Knowlton. It also owns Landor, G2, Millward B
rown and TNS.
