Yahoo promotes Lani Tweddle and Sebastian Graham to senior leadership roles

Yahoo has promoted Lani Tweddle to community, leadership, and operations partner APAC and Sebastian Graham to director of native APAC, effective immediately.

In his new role, Graham will be leading native advertising across the APAC region for Yahoo’s demand and supply side ad technology platforms.

The promotion comes off the back of strong growth of Yahoo’s Native products across Australia and New Zealand, which have increased in demand by 164% over the past 12 months.

Graham has been with the business for over five years. Within that time he has become a driving force behind Yahoo’s Native commercial and partnership strategies for Australia and New Zealand, many of which are now being replicated across the global business.

Tweddle steps into the newly created role of community, leadership and operations partner following eight years as executive assistant to VP – head of APAC, Paul Sigaloff and two years as corporate social responsibility country lead.

Carrying extensive knowledge of the business and its stakeholders, in this new position Tweddle will be leading people-first strategic initiatives across Yahoo’s company culture, internal and external communications, and community impact.

Tweddle has played an instrumental role in transforming Yahoo’s purpose driven philosophy, weaving social good into every aspect of the business. In 2021 Yahoo was inducted into UnLtd’s Hall of Good for an outstanding partnership with Australian charity organisation, Musicians Making A Difference.

Tweddle and Graham’s appointments follow a number of recent promotions to APAC roles including Paul Sigaloff, Dan Richardson, and John McNerney.

On the news, Paul Sigaloff, vice president & head of APAC comments: “Lani and Sebastian’s promotions come at a pivotal time in Yahoo’s journey. We’ve experienced exponential growth across the board and with APAC’s leadership team now in place, we’re set up to accelerate Yahoo’s growth even further across the region.

“Sebastian and Lani embody the spirit of Yahoo. They’re passionate about making a difference whether that be to our clients and their businesses, within our products to drive performance excellence, or with our stakeholders and the community at large to create a positive impact. I’m looking forward to supporting them in their new, well deserved leadership positions.”
