Yahoo talent joins TikTok to spearhead business marketing

Anny Havercroft has departed her position at Yahoo (previously Verizon Media) as director, brand innovation for a position at TikTok Australia to lead its business marketing.

Havercroft took to LinkedIn to announce the news and thank Yahoo for her time with the company.

Havercroft joined Yahoo back in 2017 as its head of brand, later being promoted to director, brand and marketing in April 2018 and then director, brand innovation in June 2020. Prior to Yahoo, she was Melbourne managing director at Mediacom.  Havercroft is also a board member at IAB Australia.

TikTok global business solutions general manager ANZ Brett Armstrong commented: “We continue to build a team of amazing local talent in Australia since we launched two years, and Anny’s appointment is another example of this. She brings more than 20 years of international agency and marketing leadership to TikTok, doing great things within the tech and media industries and working with some of the world’s most valuable brands. I’m absolutely thrilled to have Anny join us, leading even greater creativity and cutting edge innovation for our partners.”

Yahoo vice president of ANZ INSEA Paul Sigaloff said: “Over the past four and a half years Anny has been a much loved, respected and valued member of the Yahoo family. During that time she’s successfully overseen three rebrands, the launch of Yahoo Finance, delivered countless consumer events and worked closely with our talented team to develop a raft of market-leading B2B programs and B2C campaigns. These contributions have helped drive Yahoo’s record performance over the past two years.”
