SMH maintains top spot as most read news brand
The Sydney Morning Herald has maintained its top spot as Australia’s most read news brand, according to Roy Morgan Research.
Data showed Nine Entertainment Co-owned publication attracted 8.7 million readers across print and digital, up from its 8.4 million on figures released in August.
Surely the point needs to be made here that the SMH and The Age are not behind a hard paywall, while all the News Corp titles are?
And that brands like “News.com.au”, “ABC” and “The Guardian Australia” aren’t included.
