Youi, Lution and IAG added to the Mumbrella Finance Marketing Summit program

Mumbrella’s Finance Marketing Summit is returning on June 8 2023, with new sessions from Youi and Lution, as well as IAG.

Angela Greenwood, chief marketing officer at Youi, and Nick Thomas, partner and chief strategy officer at Lution, will discuss the hybrid in-housing efforts being made at the insurance brand.

Youi has long used in-house marketing, with two-thirds of its marketing team representing in-house creative and media. However, it is now working with Lution, a marketing transformation consultancy agency, and adopting a hybrid agency model for the first time.

Greenwood and Thomas will explain why Youi is changing its in-house model, lifting the lid on what the brand has learned through its journey. They will share their views and practical tips on how the broader marketing department, and Greenwood’s role as CMO, have had to change to realise the upsides of in-housing, and what it means for the culture, structure, people, processes and tools in businesses.

Also speaking is IAG’s team lead – content and editorial, Raelene Metlitzky.

In a session titled ‘Brand Storytelling: Can content move culture?’, Metlitzky, who was consulting producer of NRMA Insurance’s multi-award winning feature-length documentary, ‘A Fire Inside’, will talk delegates through how and why branded content is one of the most compelling mediums in a brand storyteller’s tool kit and what brands should be thinking about when creating content.

She will discuss how brands should create content that stands out and inspires the audience to act, how to create content that aligns to brand purpose and deepen brand meaning, and how brands can play the long game – building credibility, authenticity and gravitas.
