Y&R Brisbane picks up Amart Furniture’s creative account
WPP-owned agency Y&R Brisbane has won the creative account for furniture retailer Amart Furniture.
As part of the appointment Y&R Brisbane will be responsible for repositioning Amart Furniture as well as handling all of its creative, brand, retail, digital and in-store advertising.
Amart Furniture’s new brand positioning and campaign is expected to launch later this year and roll out across television, radio, out of home, digital and in-store.
Rodica Titeica, general manager of customer at Amart Furniture, said in a statement: “Y&R proved to have an unrivalled understanding of our customer and our brand. Their insight-led creative solution and collaborative approach meant that they were the natural partner for us.”
This is the first win for the agency since it hired Pete Bosilkovski as its CEO in March.
“To be partnering with one of Australia’s fastest growing retailers is very exciting. Amart came to us with specific objectives, focused on a customer first, creative platform that will stand out in the market place and we are looking forward to delivering that for them,” Bosilkovski added.
Paul Nagy, chief creative officer at Y&R ANZ, said the company gave Y&R Brisbane a brief which involved creating a strong point of distinction to the brand.
Brisabane-based agency Next Thursday previously handled Amart Furniture’s creative account.
Furniture and homewares is currently one of the most difficult categories to drive consistent sales. Good luck Y&R – you’ll be worked hard for your coin.
