Y&R Melbourne managing partner Julian Bell returns to Clemenger
Y&R Melbourne managing partner Julian Bell has quit the agency after 11 years.
Bell, who first joined the agency as an account director in 2007, is set to return to Clemenger Melbourne in an unspecified capacity.
In a statement to Mumbrella, Y&R CEO Peter Bosilkovski, who himself recently joined the agency from Leo Burnett Sydney, said: “After 11 years of service with Y&R, Julian Bell will be leaving the company to explore an new endeavour.”
Bosilkovski did not comment on who would be replacing Bell as managing partner.
Clemenger declined to comment further other than to say Bell would assume his new role in August.
Bell held a stint as an account manager at Clemenger Melbourne, before moving to Y&R London and then AMV BBDO.
Upon returning to Australia in 2007, he joined Y&R Melbourne as an account director and became managing partner in 2014.

How unfortunate that an ad agency didn’t get a copywriter to proof the presser.
