Y&R Melbourne wins Australian Unity’s creative account
WPP-owned advertising agency Y&R Melbourne has become the creative agency of record for health insurer Australian Unity.
Y&R Melbourne will now be responsible for the health insurer’s strategy, creative and content across its categories including health, wealth and living services.
The win comes eight months after the agency picked up the creative account for Alfa Romeo.
Melbourne-based agency DPR&Co previously handled the brand’s National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) campaigns.
Pete Bosilkovski, who was appointed as national CEO in March, said in a statement: “We’re very excited to be contributing to the development of an exceptional Australian brand that has almost 180 years of experience focusing on serving and enhancing the wellbeing of Australians.
“This obsession for customer-first is what drives our business so we are we’re really looking forward to working with Australian Unity across its diverse range of business streams.”
Kellie Johnston, group general manager of brand and content, added: “As a member-governed company founded on social values and community contribution, we’re excited to bring our brand to life and extend our offerings to more Australians with the support of the Y&R team.”
Y&R starting to hit their straps in Melbourne it seems.

Hi Danny,
In the release we received this morning Y&R did state that the agency is now Australian Unity’s creative agency of record.
Hope this clears things up.
Cheers,
