Parry’s Black Communication specialises in luxury brands

For a number of global luxury brands, deploying a full marketing team in Australia doesn’t make sense. Parry will explain how PR and communications takes an expanded role in these situations as well as how luxury brands should be using them today.

The boom in the Australian luxury market, and China’s place in it, will also be explored with Doris Li, general manager, marketing and communications at Bastion China.

Li will explain China’s impact on the luxury market in Australia

According to IBISWorld, around 30 percent of retail industry revenue will come from tourists in 2017/18, led by the rising middle class in China. Tourism Research Australia has found that China will soon overtake New Zealand as the largest source of international visitors to the country, and in the year ending September 2017, Chinese tourists spent over $10.3 billion in Australian retail.

Li will take an in-depth look at Chinese consumers and the Chinese luxury market and talk through significant case studies.

Mumbrella’s Luxury Marketing Summit has launched in light of a significant boost in the revenue and reputation of luxury brands in Australia. The Mumbrella Luxury Marketing Summit will be the second new summit in 2018, after the B2B Marketing Summit
