303 Mullen Lowe promotes Joanna Gray to be its first Sydney managing director

303 Mullen Lowe has promoted Joanna Gray as its first managing director of its Sydney office after one year as managing partner.

According to the agency, the introduction of the Sydney MD role reflects the recent growth across the 303 Mullen Lowe business, including the introduction of its PR arm Creature and the expansion of its growing media business.

Gray has been appointed as managing director of 303 Mullen Lowe Sydney

Before joining 303 Mullen Lowe, Gray spent eight months in Auckland as the general manager of new business and geometry at Ogilvy. She has previously worked at The Works Sydney, first as head of client service and later becoming its general manager.

CEO Nick Cleaver said that Gray’s leadership and positive attitude will enable her to excel in her new role.

“Jo has done an amazing job in her time with us. She is a natural leader who applies a huge amount of energy and intelligence into everything she does,” Cleaver said.

“Her optimism and ‘can do’ attitude has earned the respect of our people and our clients. She is also incredibly passionate about the work we output and the people in the agency. She is a wonderful example of an individual who is highly talented, as well as being an exceptionally nice person.”

Gray said of her promotion: “I am obviously delighted with this change and the opportunity it presents to continue to evolve our business offering.”
