MasterChef takes entertainment while Seven wins Tuesday

Ten’s MasterChef took out the top spot for primetime entertainment last night, however it was the Seven network which celebrated an overall network share win.

The episode brought in 481,000 metro viewers for Ten, followed by Home and Away on Seven which brought in an average audience of 465,000 metro viewers.

Nine’s Celebrity Apprentice saw 401,000 metro viewers tune in. 

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 17 May, Seven News topped the list with 1.535 million Total TV viewers, including 38,000 viewers on BVOD with an uplift of 3%. An episode of The Rookie on Seven achieved the highest uplift of the evening, with 87%, viewed by 336,000 Total TV viewers.

Next in entertainment on Tuesday Big Brother on Seven with an average audience of 327,000 viewers. 

Overall, Seven News topped programming with 969,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6.30 with 907,000 metro viewers. Nine News at 6:30 was next with 866,000 metro viewers, then Nine News with 866,000 metro viewers. ABC News brought in 633,000 metro viewers with 7:30 on ABC hitting 540,000 metro viewers. Nine’s A Current Affair was next on 696,000 metro viewers.

As mentioned, the Seven Network took out total share for the evening with 26.7%, followed by the Nine Network at 25.6%. Network 10 was next with 19.5%, followed by the ABC with 17.7%.
