A night to remember: Mumbrella Awards set to return in 2025
The marketing and media industry’s night of nights – the Mumbrella Awards – is officially returning in 2025.
The next iteration of the annual award ceremony, dedicated to recognising outstanding work and talent in the communications, production, advertising, public relations (PR), media and marketing sectors, is set to take place on Thursday July 25, 2025, at The Star, Sydney.
The 2025 awards boast 32 categories, including the brand new Account Management Team of the Year – an accolade for large, small and medium creative agencies, designed to spotlight top-tier client service work that’s connected to client-agency impact and partnership, as well as commercial success.
Several old favourite categories, such as Media Agency of the Year, Mumbrella Award for Insight, and Industry Leader of the Year, are locked in to return.
As always, an initial judging process will see a selection of nominees chosen to stand before a jury of industry leaders at a live judging day event, with next year’s set to take place on May 8, 2025, at the Hilton Sydney.
It will provide those shortlisted with an opportunity to pitch their work before their peers, and explain exactly why their efforts deserve a much-coveted trophy.
The night’s winners will be able to stand alongside the 2023 winners and the 2024 Mumbrella Awards winners – with the latter’s roster naming alt/shift/ as PR Agency of the Year; Think HQ’s managing director and founder, Jen Sharpe, named Industry Leader of the Year; The Monkeys, part of Accenture Song the winner of Best Use of Real-Time Marketing for its work with Carlton United Breweries and Victoria Bitter; The Hallway’s Impressions campaign for Boody rewarded with the Mumbrella Award for Bravery, and more.

The first award entry deadline is March 7, 2025.
