A reckoning?

Welcome to Best of the Week, written (for a second time) in Tasmania on Friday night and Saturday morning. The first draft is sitting on my iPad which, according to my Find My app, is somewhere in Sydney Airport. Sorry to leave you on a plane yet again, little fella.

While it seemed pretty obvious that appearances on both the Best Ads platform and the Hot List of Agencies were funded by the agency coffers, there is nothing like hearing it first hand from the female creatives trying to get honest publicity for real campaigns. The final “lynch pin” was reading for the first time how Lynch used his interests in recruitment to blackmail the agencies. Wow. More transparency needed to stop the abuse of power.
As someone looking at all of this from the outside it’s great to get some context.
