ABC’s Cleverman slides on second outing as Ten’s Masterchef wins the night
Masterchef was the most-watched show of Thursday evening as the second episode of ABC’s much talked about new supernatural drama Cleverman shed 122,000 metro viewers.
Cleverman, which aired at 9:30pm, pulled in 330,000 metro viewers down on last week’s debut audience of 452,000.
Earlier in the evening Ten’s Masterchef, which aired at 7:30pm, drew an audience of 1.041m to be the most-watched show across the key advertising demographics (16-39, 18-49 and 25-54).

I think Cleverman is OK (I plan on watching the whole series), but why is it so unrelentingly earnest and flat? There isn’t a single line of dialogue that rises above crude exposition or people bickering with each other.
What are the ratings for the footy show with Rebecca maddern? doesn’t seem to be in the top 15!
