Ad-tech startup launches open marketplace for out of home advertising
CAASie, an ad-tech startup, has launched an online demand side platform (DSP) for out of home advertising.
The announcement:
CAASie launches Australia’s first dedicated open marketplace for out-of-home advertising.
Somewhere in this release are some facts around a potentially interesting idea. But to find them would require a huge amount of detective work. Why do people still insist on writing these things. Listen to Mark Twain people, or hire someone who hasn’t devoured a dictionary for breakfast maybe?
Sadly not an Australian first ….
A first if you exclude mediamath, vistar, verizon, hivestack, campsite….
I was cynical at first when I met the Caasie team, but after listening to their pitch they have found an interesting niche. The true first here is making OOH assessable to the SMB market.
Targeting digital agencies that manage SMB clients, of which there are hundreds, gives the client new reach opportunities – Geo targeted to their business – and gives OOH companies net new revenue.
I wish them well
Thank you, Tristan! I’m glad you feel that way.
There’s certainly ambition behind what we’re trying to achieve with CAASie which means we do face a lot of cynicism. But I guess that is to be expected – the challenge is to turn that around!
Our users have been very receptive so far though, so things do seem very promising moving forward.
