Ad wrap: McDonald’s promotes menu addition; Ford and Jeep introduce new cars and iSelect partners with Qantas Frequent Flyers

Mumbrella wraps up a few of the latest ads.

McDonald’s is pushing it’s Create Your Taste range with a new spot spruiking the addition of grilled chicken to the menu. It sees the Create Your Taste team put together Jane’s order and deliver it to her table. DDB Sydney has been responsible for other work in this campaign for McDonald’s.

Ford is introducing its Everest in a new campaign which aims to show how cars aren’t always as the seem. It ends with tagline ‘Introducing the new Ford Everest – not just another SUV’. Ford has it’s own in-house creative team called BlueHive. It follows on from an ad for the Ford range featuring Australia’s Next Top Model winner Brittany Beattie talking about how their vehicles ‘Go Further’.

Sticking with cars, Jeep is launching its new Renegade with a spot which sees the car company juxtapose shots of the car in an off-road environment to shots of it driving in more urban situations. It is set against the track Renegades by X Ambassadors. Cummins & Partners is Jeep’s creative agency of record.

iSelect has partnered with Qantas Frequent Flyers in it’s latest ad push which sees Mr iSelect talk through the deal which sees people who use iSelect to check their energy plan or get health insurance go in the running to win 250,000 Qantas Frequent Flyer points. Leo Burnett Melbourne is iSelect’s creative agency of record.

Telstra users say ‘nice’ to its network range with “fewer pauses and less drop outs” in the latest ad from the telco. Recent similar activity has been created by The Monkeys.
