Adconion hires Emitch’s Nick Bennett

Former Emitch staffer Nick Bennett will join online advertising network Adconion as its Media Director.  

The announcement:

September 6, 2010- Adconion, Australia’s largest independent audience network, today announced the appointment of Nick Bennett as Media Director.

His new role at Adconion will see Bennett focus on Adconion’s publisher strategy and network partnerships. The move to hire Bennet, being ex-agency, highlights Adconion’s commitment to its publishers and the essential qualities of understanding local publisher objectives from an agency point of view. Bennett is tasked with managing the Australian publisher team and offering innovative commercial solutions to Adconion’s partners.

Previously, Bennett was Media Director at emitch where he was part of the Melbourne management team. Being responsible for a team of 4 and several key accounts within the major categories of Financial services, Automotive, Retail, FMCG and Entertainment. Part of Bennetts successful 5 year career at emitch consisted of the launch of the Perth office and its subsequent win of RAC WA, one of the premier accounts in the market.
