Adelaide radio ratings: FIVEaa steals ABC’s breakfast, Nova tops overall and drive

Nova 91.9 has snatched the overall share crown in the sixth GFK radio rating of the market, while ABC Adelaide had its breakfast crown stolen for the first time this year, after a dip in all three key slots in survey five.

Nova 91.9 claimed the top spot in People 10+ with an 11.8% share, up 0.8 points, followed by ARN’s Mix 102.3 with 10.6%, unchanged from the last two periods.

The biggest upward mover, which also came in third, was Nova’s FIVEaa with a 10% share, up 1.1 points. ABC Adelaide claimed 9% and saw the most significant drop of 2.7 points.

David Penberthy and Will Goodings

In breakfast, FIVEaa’s David Penberthy and Will Goodings show claimed the top spot with a 14.6% share, up 0.8 points from the last period.

This is also the first time in 2022 that ABC Adelaide was bumped to second place; the station’s Breakfast with Stacey Lee and Nikolai Beilharz drew a 12.5% share, with the biggest drop in the slot – down 4.1 points.

Coming in third was Nova 91.9’s Ben & Liam with an 11.9% share, up 1.1 points.

The biggest mover was Triple J’s show with Bryce Mills and Ebony Boadu, which claimed 5.5%, up 1.5 points.

Nova Entertainment’s Kate, Tim and Joel

In drive, Nova 91.9’s Kate, Tim & Joel had the upper hand, claiming the top spot with a 13.4% share, up 1.4 points.

The winner in the past two surveys, SAFM’s Carrie & Tommy, had an 11.1% share and witnessed the biggest dip alongside Triple M’s Bernie, Blewey & Jars (1.8 points).

The biggest upward mover was FIVEaa with an 8.7% share, up 2.4 points.

This survey period ran from 10 July to 17 September.
