ARN’s Mix 102.3 retained its overall crown in the Adelaide market, claiming an 11.8% share, while ABC Adelaide capped off the year with a very soft finish (9.1%) despite being the market leader in January.
In overall second place was Nova Entertainment’s FIVEaa, with an 11.1% share and up 0.8 points from the last survey. It is followed by Nova 91.9 drawing in 10.1% of the share, despite being down 0.8 points from the last survey.
Next was Triple M, with a 9.8% share and was the biggest upward mover with 0.9 points. The biggest downward mover, however, was 5RN also with 0.9 points. SCA’s SAFM and ABC Adelaide tied with a 9.1% share each.
In breakfast, FIVEaa still sat pretty at the top and even gained further ground. David & Will attracted 16.5% of the market share, up 1.3 points from the last survey.
This is followed by ABC Adelaide’s Stacey Lee and Nikolai Beilharz with 13.6%, up 0.8 points. The duo started hosting the show from 21 January as the replacement for Ali Clarke, and had a share of 18.9% at the highest point this year.
In drive, the competition was fierce as both Mix 102.3’s Will & Woody and SAFM’s Carrie & Tommy secured an 11.6% share. The latter renewed its contract with the Hit Network for four more years in November.
This is closely followed by Nova 91.9’s Kate, Tim & Joel with 11.5%, despite missing one in the trio later in the survey period. Ricki Lee filled in on the show as Kate Ritchie announced in October that she is taking a break until the new year.
