Adelaide radio ratings: A change at the top as Triple M leads the pack

Triple M claimed the top spot in the Adelaide radio market with a 12% overall share, overtaking ARN’s Mix 102.3 and Nova 91.9, in the second GfK radio ratings of the year.

Despite the move, Adelaide’s radio market has not seen other significant change, Triple M having the largest upward shift with only a 1.3 percentage point rise, while Mix 102.3, the previous leader, dropped 0.4 percentage points. Nova 91.9 dropped by 0.8, and now sits at 11.3% overall share.

In breakfast, Triple M also claimed the top spot with a 14.2% share. Hosts Roo, Ditts & Loz had a 1.3 percentage point increase, knocking off Nova Entertainment’s FIVEaa, who led since the sixth survey last year but now move to third. FIVEaa’s David & Will still sit in second, at 13.6%.

The race for third remains tight, with SAFM recording a 10.6% share thanks to a 0.3 percentage point rise. Nova 91.9 and ABC Adelaide sit close behind at 10.4%.

ABC Adelaide’s Stacey Lee and Nikolai Beilharz had the biggest downward shift in breakfast, with a 2.1 percentage point drop. Sitting at second in the last GfK survey, the station now sits equal-fourth.

In drive, Nova 91.9’s national Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel show continue to lead at 14.6% share, while Triple M rose to second at 11.3%. Mix 102.3’s Will & Woody followed at 10.4%, having suffered a 0.5 percentage point decrease.

FIVEaa, Nova 91.9, ABC News Radio and ABC Classic all recorded no change.

SCA’s SAFM had the biggest drop at 1.6 percentage points, falling to 10.9% share.

This survey period ran from 5 to 25 February and 26 February to 1 April.
