Adlux makes two new hires

Adlux has appointed Kirsten Johnson and Ramiro Medina to senior roles.

The announcement:

Sydney based sponsored search network AdLux has signaled to the market its intention to take on Google and Yahoo with two major strategic hires. AdLux hired Kirsten Johnson as Director of Network Quality and Ramiro Medina as Director of Network Development. Both come from Silicon Valley, the nexus of search in the States and have impressive track records behind them.

Nicholas Stavropoulos, CEO of Adlux was quoted as saying “We are delighted to have Kirsten and Ramiro on the team, between them there is enough practical knowledge to set the search world alight. They are both dynamic individuals that will be the driving force behind creating our exclusive forensic traffic analysis package. AdLux will optimise advertiser campaigns in real-time, increasing ROI by pairing the correct publishers with the optimal media spend”.

Miss Johnson was Director, Network Management at LookSmart who has a Masters in statistics from UCLA and will further improve the quality of traffic in the AdLux network by forensic analysis of site traffic and consumer behavior.

She is known in the industry for mining traffic data using advanced statistics, then targeting advertisers to sites with a propensity for higher conversions.

Mr Medina is well known for building the Ask/IAC network as we know it today over his 8-year tenure. He will be looking at strategic alliances with key publishers here and abroad to help grow the key USP of AdLux; unique traffic not available to Google or other networks.

By combining these two talents under one roof, and with one visions to grow the AdLux search network – Australia is set to see a new force in the market.
