Admatic hires two former CHE Proximity Sydney staffers for performance division

Admatic has appointed two former CHE Proximity Sydney staffers to lead its performance division.

The digital media agency has hired James Shaw as its national head of performance and activation and James Deehan as its national performance director.

Admatic has hired two new employees from CHE Proximity

Shaw joins the agency from CHE Proximity Sydney where he was head of performance for almost two years after being promoted from national performance lead last year.

Prior to his stint at CHE Proximity, Shaw was the head of performance media at Atomic 212.

Deehan also joins Admatic from CHE Proximity where he was the performance director for search, social and programmatic for a year.

Matt Crook, national managing director and partner at Admatic, said in a statement: “Our performance and activations division is critical to our proposition of uniting brands and customers through the unrestricted possibilities of digital. After searching for a number of months James was the standout candidate for our business.

“Brining both James and James across from CHE Proximity is a fantastic outcome for Admatic. They have a great history of delivering brilliant and award-winning work together and we are very flattered and proud that they have chosen our business as the place they feel they can build on their careers and provide them with the environment to be at the forefront of change.”

Shaw said he joined Admatic because it is an ambitious independent agency.

“I felt instantly aligned with Michael and Matt and their company ethos of unrestricted possibilities. The opportunity to learn from, and collaborate with, the exec team was a huge draw. The vision for the company is very exciting and I’m thrilled that Admatic want me to be part it.”

Admatic’s clients include Google, Kia and the University of New South Wales.
