AIMIA and Adobe call on web designers to take part in survey

AIMIA and Adobe are calling on web designers to take part in the third annual web design survey.

The announcement:

AIMIA and Adobe are calling on web designers to take part in the third annual web design survey, which analyses how the role of web designer has changed over the last year and how it is likely to change in coming years.

With the rise of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, the survey also looks at how the role of designer is blurring to include additional specialities such as interactive design, app development and mobile content creation.

By comparing this year’s results with the 2012 Web Design Survey, Adobe and AIMIA hope to gain insight into how the industry has changed over the last year and how the role of a web designer will be defined in the future.

The survey is open to the industry as of today and will run for one month, closing Friday 13th June 2014. By participating in the survey, all entrants will receive a free three month subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud. All entrants will also be placed in a draw to win a year’s membership to Adobe Creative Cloud, which includes all of Adobe’s flagship products including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. The prize will be drawn Monday 16th June and the winner will be announced in the AIMIA Events Weekly newsletter. Terms & Conditions apply.
