Allen’s crystal ball turns cloudy for Hey Hey

The great thing about media analyst Steve Allen is that he’s always willing to stick his neck out, which is why journos tend to call him. Unfortunately that can sometimes mean making an amusingly wrong call.  

Like this Wednesday, when he gave the Herald Sun his predictions for the Masterchef v Hey Hey Reunion battle:

“Celebrity MasterChef will win hands down, especially in the key 16-54 demographic,” Allen said.

“I predict MasterChef will do around 1.5 million viewers nationally and Hey Hey will do around 1.2 million.”
