Allison Yorston takes the lead at V Energy

Frucor Suntory has appointed Allison Yorston as director of energy and transformation, taking the lead on its V Energy brand.

Yorston moves across from the company’s juice, Pepsi and partners brand portfolio, where she spent the past two years as director of nutrition, fun and enjoyment.

Following her move, Yorston will remain a member of Frucor Suntory’s consumer leadership team.

Yorston said of the new role: “Having the opportunity to work on, lead and shape a brand like V doesn’t come around too often in your career. It’s a sense of responsibility that I won’t take lightly, and I intend for us to have a lot of fun along the way.”

Yorston bring 18 years experience in marketing at FMCG, telecommunications and retail brands. Prior to Frucor Suntory, she was head of family and high value customer segment, consumer marketing at Vodafone in New Zealand. Previously, she has spent time at Fonterra and Sanitarium.

In her time working on the juice portfolio, Yorston worked closely with PepsiCo to re-sign a multi-year bottler agreement for the New Zealand market.
