Allure Media’s former chief revenue officer Sarah Wyse joins AFL

The former chief revenue officer at Allure Media, Sarah Wyse, has joined the AFL in a newly-created head of media role.

Wyse left Allure Media in April after just over a year with the digital publisher. At the time, Wyse said she was departing to launch a women’s network.

Wyse commences her new role in December

Prior to Allure Media, Wyse was the former managing director of Videology for Australia and New Zealand.

In her new role, she will oversee news, content, creative and production teams for AFL’s news, digital and creative business.

The appointment follows an announcement AFL general manager Darren Birch, who said the AFL would look towards a more personalised, audience-driven content network.

Wyse said the new role came up through the launch of ‘Wyse Women’, which she will no longer run day-to-day. Wyse will continue to work with the team on future strategy and direction of the Wyse Women business.

“Diversity and flexibility are two of the core business values at AFL and the opportunity to run their unique media business living such values every-day, was simply too good an opportunity to turn down,” Wyse said.
