Amy Bradshaw promoted to head of Australia role at VaynerMedia

Just over a year after launching in Australia, VaynerMedia – Gary Vaynerchuk’s marketing agency – has appointed Amy Bradshaw to the role of head of Australia, after leading the local expansion in a business director position.

Bradshaw joined VaynerMedia in 2017 in New York, then moved to London before being tasked with the Australian launch in Sydney.

Bradshaw to be head of Australia for VaynerMedia

Bradshaw told Mumbrella: “There is something uniquely special about what we’re building here and I’m so proud of this exceptionally talented team for their commitment and drive to create culture-defining work that drives relevancy and growth for our clients’ businesses. This has been key to our early momentum in market and I look forward to continuing to bring the best of strategy, creative and media together to fuel the next phase of our growth.”

She said on her LinkedIn that before joining VaynerMedia in 2017, Vaynerchuk spoke about his long-term ambition to one day open an office in Australia, and since then it’s been Bradshaw’s “goal to one day lead it”.

The VaynerMedia team now totals over 20 staff locally, she said.

Last year, following the launch, Bradshaw appeared on the Mumbrellacast speaking about the marketing agency’s local launch.

“Australia was definitely always on the map for Gary,” Bradshaw told Mumbrella. “He has a lot of affinity for here. He has been out here I think for the past 12 years, every year. He started coming out here with his wine business.

“So definitely always on the radar. It’s probably earlier to be honest than what was planned pre-COVID and everything else, but nobody expected Singapore and APAC to grow as fast as they have either.”

Globally, VaynerMedia describes itself as a creative and media agency and lists clients including PepsiCo, Subway, Unicef, YouTube and more.

In March Vaynermedia appointed Shaun O’Connor as creative director, leading the creative vision for the agency.
