ARN’s iHeartRadio launches on Apple TV

Australian Radio Network’s (ARN) streaming platform iHeartRadio is now available on Apple TV, giving users the ability to access music, live radio and podcasts directly from Apple TV devices.

Both registered and unregistered iHeartRadio users will be able to use the app to access stations across ARN’s Kiis and Pure Gold networks, as well as other radio networks including Nine Radio, ABC, SBS and Ace.

IHeartRadio Australia’s content director Brett Nossiter said the partnership opens up new ways for users to access the audio company’s range of content.

“ARN and iHeartRadio continually look at innovative ways to improve our offering for our audience so they can access their favourite music, artists, podcasts and live radio – any time, on any device, wherever they are,” said Nossiter.

“So, it’s exciting to now have iHeartRadio Australia available on Apple TV to give our listeners yet another way to enjoy their favourite content on the device of their choice. The new interface makes finding your favourite artists, discovering new music and enjoying recommendations effortless while you kick back on your couch.”

IHeartRadio also recently signed a deal to allow users to access an audio stream of Sky News content via the platform and five months ago ARN launched the iHeartPodcast Network for Australia.

The iHeartRadio app reports over 1.6m registered users in Australia and 2.2m downloads.
