Australian Made appoints Ooh Media as media partner, launches new outdoor campaign

Australian Made has appointed Ooh Media as an official media partner, with a new out-of-home campaign urging Aussies to support local makers and growers.

The national campaign is live across Ooh Media’s digital large format assets in metropolitan markets, and will run throughout May in time for Australian Made Week, starting on the 24th of this month.

Tim Murphy, Ooh Media’s chief sales officer, said that the partnership was a natural fit, with Ooh being a proudly Australian business.

“We are delighted to be an Australian Made media partner, and to provide them with our market-leading scale and reach to really drive awareness of Australian Made Week and the importance of buying from our local makers and growers,” Murphy said.

The creative urges Australians to support local with the slogan: “Australian Made makes Australia. Buy Australian”.

Australian Made’s chief executive, Ben Lazzaro, said that it was the perfect partnership, for both businesses.

“This has been a challenging year for many Australian companies, so we’re really thrilled to partner with Ooh to celebrate and support our local heroes, not only during Australian Made Week, but for the future.”

The partnership comes as Ooh Media continues its post-Covid recovery – Cathy O’Connor using her first CEO address in May to highlight the outdoor company’s Q1 financial results.

O’Connor was announced as Ooh’s CEO in August, joining from Nova. Other recent business includes Melbourne Airport naming Ooh Media as its exclusive Out-Of-Home (OOH) advertising partner.
