Award-winning Aussie sports marketing agency relaunches under new name

Sports consultancy and marketing agency Rich Digital has relaunched this week under a new name, in an effort to modernise and better reflect its community, Mumbrella can reveal.

Now called The Enrichd Media Group, the agency develops and enables programs for brands, personalities and businesses, designed to increase the health and wellbeing of the sports community.

“The Enrichd Group relaunch is a natural transition for us, to a modern consultancy group dedicated to helping clients create positive and sustainable impact,” said co-founder and CEO of Enrichd Group, Brent Richardson.

“Helping for purpose organisations and brands implement programs and partnerships that focus on maximising community impact and outcomes. Or, as we like to say: ‘Where Purpose Meets Performance’.”

Having supported nearly 20,000 Australians to date with these programs, the consultancy has a goal to real 2 million.

Working with sports stars including former-South Sydney Rabbitohs legend Greg Inglis and his mental-health education provider Goanna Academy, Brisbane Broncos captain Adam Reynolds, W-League star Michelle Heyman and rising NRLW star Zali Hopkins, the agency is continuing to build its sports management roster and forge long-lasting relationships.

“The partnership with the Enrichd group has been essential to our success in impacting thousands of lives with The Goanna Academy in Mental Health,” Inglis said.

“They live and breathe purpose and are able to combine making a difference with helping the business to be successful at the same time.”

The NRL’s chief executive, Andrew Abdo, added: “The NRL has a strong commitment of using rugby league to help level out the playing field between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. Greg Inglis should be commended for using his profile to establish the Goanna Academy, his work off the field to deliver important messages to improve the mental health and wellbeing of others will have a lifelong impact on so many.”

The Enrichd Media Group has already successfully launched campaigns for organisations and companies including Adidas, The NBL, Fox Sports, Channel 9, Ikea, TikTok, Asics, NSW Rugby League, The South Sydney Rabbitohs, Wests Tigers, Stronger Smarter Institute, NSW Health, NSW Education, Brisbane Firehawks, The Central Coast Mariners, The Stronger Smarter Institute, WYCBT (Wire Yuwiburra Community Benefits Trust), Triple M, JBL and many more.

The agency won last year’s Mumbrella Sports Marketing Award for Best Athlete Partnership with Greg Inglis’ Goanna Academy, and was highly commended for the Best Cause-Related Sports Campaign category.

Richardson, a former athlete and international coach himself, said the win was great recognition for the team: “Our work in mental health has led to us now be working on other inspiring community initiatives across domestic violence, underemployment, underprivileged mentoring, and LGBTQ+, to name a few.

“We build these companies and programs ourselves; we don’t just consult on it,” he continued. “We have global expertise, but grassroots understanding. We are in communities, listening to what they need and bridging the gap between organisations and their community.”
