Bailey Smith’s mullet pays for its own haircut in new CoinSpot Mastercard spot

Bailey Smith’s hair is paying the bills in CoinSpot’s latest work via TRP.

The advertisement shows AFL superstar Smith at a hairdresser having his famous mullet tended to. When it comes time to pay, Smith’s locks whip out the CoinSpot Mastercard to pay for the cut using crypto.

“With Bailey and his unmistakable mullet, we wanted to make more than just a statement about crypto, but prompt you to rethink how you can spend it,” explained Ray Osthmuller, head of marketing at CoinSpot.

“The CoinSpot Mastercard seamlessly bridges crypto and everyday life and the goal was to creatively portray that.”

The campaign is currently live across subscription-video-on-demand, and social media.
