BBC hires Gary Nunn as features journalist
The BBC has appointed freelance journalist Gary Nunn to the role of features journalist, on a three month contract. Nunn was shortlisted for the Media Professional of the Year Award at the 2019 LGBTI Awards and is an inaugural Our Watch fellow. Before becoming a journalist, Nunn was director of communications at change.org.

Gary Nunn has begun a new role as a features journalist at the BBC’s Sydney bureau on a three-month contract. Gary had been freelancing before his new role, covering topics including health, social justice, and human interest. His regular columns in Executive Style, 10 daily, The Australian Women’s Weekly, the ABC and Guardian Australia will continue to appear in 2019.
