BeIN extends exclusive La Liga broadcast rights for Australia ahead of season kick off
BeIN SPORTS will remain the home of Spanish football in 11 markets across Asia-Pacific until the end of the 2026-27 season after extending its La Liga broadcast rights.
The Qatari sports and entertainment company has held the rights to all 380 league games since 2015.
“We are delighted to extend our contract with LALIGA with two significant multi-year deals across 34 countries,” beIN Media Group CEO Yousef Al-Obaidly said.
Agree, optus prices go up but significantly less content. They used La Liga previously as an excuse to raise price.
Interesting, there is no mention of optus sport losing the La Liga rights while upping their price. That is now both kayo and optus sport that has jacked up their prices with far less content.
