Bench PR expands client portfolio with two new wins

Technology-focused public relations agency Bench PR has announced two new client wins, Skillsoft and Yume.

US-based educational technology company Skillsoft appointed the agency to its PR account to bolster its brand awareness in the APAC region.

Online food wholesaler and platform, Yume, also assigned the agency to handle its PR to assist with its recent $2.6 million investment to expand throughout Australia.

Katy Barfield, founder and CEO of Yume, said: “[Bench PR] were passionate about partnering with us and understand the unique marketplace we’ve built to help connect buyers and suppliers and reduce the estimated 3.9 million tonnes of food going to waste annually. Bench came highly recommended and have achieved so much for us already in a short space of time.”

Jocelyn Hunter, managing director at Bench PR, said: “Both Skillsoft and Yume are bringing much needed innovation and new ways of tackling growing problems in our region. The way people learn is so different today. They want content in multiple formats, whether that’s online, in books or through video that they can access anytime, anywhere.

“Skillsoft is helping people learn new business and IT skills and take control of their career paths. Yume is a global first – using technology to reduce the growing food waste problem we have in Australia and the rest of the world. We’re excited to be able to help them tell their story and attract both buyers and suppliers to the Yume marketplace,” Hunter said.
