Bench trivia night results revealed

Digital disruption agency, Bench, hosted an industry trivia night for Adland, with Lionize announced as the winner.

The announcement:

Bench, the digital disruption agency, has hosted an industry trivia night to find the smartest team in Adland. The inaugural event was part of Bench’s social impact partnership with UnLtd and raised over $20,000 for Youth Off The Streets.

Over 100 people from across 20 companies took part in the event to test their general knowledge and to raise funds for children and young people experiencing homelessness. The competition was fierce, with Lionize narrowly claiming first place and Meta and ARN securing second and third place.

Ori Gold, CEO of Bench, thanked the industry for their support:

“We were very humbled that over 100 media professionals joined us and put their minds together to raise much-needed funds for helping vulnerable young people. But it wasn’t just trivia — it was proof that a bit of fun and a lot of heart can make a real difference. We raised over $20,000 for vulnerable young people, so that’s a roaring success! Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this important night happen!”

The evening was not just about raising funds but raising awareness of youth homelessness. One poignant moment came when Gem, a young participant in a Youth Off The Streets program, took the stage to share his personal journey. His heartfelt account of overcoming a challenging family situation aged 17 deeply resonated with attendees, serving as a touching reminder of the importance of supporting organisations like Youth Off The Streets.

Judy Barraclough, CEO of Youth Off The Streets, said:

“We’re so grateful to Bench for their ongoing support and to everyone who came to the trivia night to help raise funds for our services for children and young people in need. I was encouraged to see so many people from the media industry come together to make a difference and learn more about the challenges faced by thousands of children and young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The funds raised from the event will help us ensure young people receive the support they need to overcome their circumstances and build a positive future.”

The event was supported by Club York, Luxury Escapes, ARN, MOOD Tea and Officeworks with participating companies including Acast, ARN, FlexiRoam, IAS, Lionize, Meta, NewsCorp and The Trade Desk.
