Each piece of Bespoke content is completely unique, and prices vary on both the scale of work involved and also the content’s prominence on the site. Below, however, is a guide to our packages.
Package 1: Written
Our longer written features vary in size and style, but all are perfect for helping to create a narrative around a topic. They do this by being credible pieces of editorial in their own right that show, as well as tell, what makes you unique. They often do this by creating a feature around the topic your product or service addresses. Bespoke content can include:
Thought leadership Q&A interview (500 words)
Distribution: Appearance on the Mumbrella homepage; three appearances on the Mumbrella newsletter and Facebook boost.
See examples with Unbound, Icumulus and the Multicultural Communications Awards.
A shorter feature, of around 1000 words, that goes into more depth on a topic than a simple news story could.
Distribution: One day with a prominent position at the top of the homepage; three appearances on the Mumbrella newsletter; Facebook boost.
See examples with Facebook Blueprint
A long-form feature, up to 2,500 words, that will investigate a topic in detail and interview multiple people.
Distribution: One day with a prominent position on the homepage; three appearances in the Mumbrella newsletter; appearances on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn with a boost on Facebook, too.
See our examples with SpotX, FivebyFive and Phantom Billstickers.
A series of mini news stories, between 50-100 words, that will appear in the Mumbrella newsletter, the main driver of traffic to Mumbrella. These link to a short feature.
Distribution: Five appearances in our newsletter; content to remain on the homepage for a week.
See our work for Millennial 20/20.
A write-up of your event or presentation, that will be around 1000 words long that will run within two weeks of the event.
Distribution: Two appearances on our newsletter; content to remain on the homepage for a week.
See our examples with REA, Sojern and IAS.
Package 2: Podcast
We can create a podcast on any topic you’d like. A collaboration between yourselves and Mumbrella, it could take the form of a feature captured on audio and edited together; a magazine-style show; a panel discussion at an event; or even a Q&A-style interview.
We have our own equipment and will record these in our sound-proofed studio at Mumbrella House. We’ll be sure to brief all our speakers beforehand and will record more audio than we need – meaning we can edit the recording to meet your requirements. All podcasts will be embedded inside an online article that summarises what was discussed in the podcast – meaning they can be promoted on our newsletter, sit on our homepage and be shared via our social media channels.
Distribution: Three days with a prominent position on the homepage, then to remain on the homepage for a week; three appearances in the Mumbrella newsletter; appearances on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn with a boost on Facebook, too.
Package 3: Video
We can create video around any topic you’d like. A collaboration between yourselves and Mumbrella, the footage could take the form of a filmed feature edited together; a magazine-style show; a panel discussion at an event; or even a Q&A-style interview.
We’ll handle every aspect of this, from arranging the filming equipment, using our contacts to arrange interviewees and editing the piece to meet your requirements. Like our written pieces and podcasts, they will likely focus around a topic you want to be associated with.
All videos will be embedded inside an online article that summarises what was discussed – meaning they can be promoted in our newsletter, sit on our homepage and be shared via our social media channels to gain maximum reach.
Distribution: Three days with a prominent position on the homepage, then to remain on the homepage for a week; three appearances in the Mumbrella newsletter; appearances on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn with boost on Facebook, too.
Package 4: Events
Bespoke organises events for clients, ranging from intimate breakfasts and dinners at luxury venues to half-day masterclasses for more than 100 delegates. They’re a great way to generate leads or position yourselves as the industry authority on a particular topic.
We’re a one-stop shop that will handle every aspect of the process, from booking the venue to arranging the catering and designing and printing publicity material. If it’s a smaller event, you can present us with a list of preferred guests for us to invite under Mumbrella’s name, and for a larger event, we can open it up to registrations that will be published online.
If there’s still any remaining seats, we’ll use our huge database – compiled from those who attend our events – to help fill the room with relevant, senior guests. Finally, we’ll turn one of your sessions into a written feature that will be published on Mumbrella’s website and social channels.
Working with us means you’ll take advantage of Mumbrella’s reputation and credibility across APAC. We currently run more than 20 major events annually, including the country’s biggest media and marketing conference, Mumbrella 360, which attracts nearly 3,000 delegates and was named conference of the year in 2016.
Prices vary based on the size and scale of the event, but our two main categories are:
Intimate breakfast/dinner (10-25 guests)
This is ideal for attracting between 10-25 potential clients in a small room at a hatted restaurant. MCeed by Mumbrella, you can make a presentation on a topic that your service addresses or we can help invite other speakers for a panel discussion. Afterwards, you can hold a short Q&A, too.
Potential venues in Sydney include O Bar and Dining, on the 47th floor of the Australia Square building or Altitude on the 36th floor of the Shangri-La.

Larger breakfast/half-day event (100+ delegates)
We can organise a half-day event where we can invite up to 100+ senior marketers to hear you speak at a top venue. Again, we’d organise everything. We could either invite guests in a similar manner to the intimate breakfast (with your choice of attendees) or we can write a launch story to appear on the website seeking registrations, and then pick the most relevant people. We’d use our contacts book to arrange for other speakers to attend, and also help you plan your presentation.

Package 5: Whitepapers, roundtables and audience data
Mumbrella can create or host whitepapers that have the potential to be downloaded after users complete a registration form. We can then send this information to you – giving you extremely valuable data and leads.
Mumbrella’s roundtable events are intimate gatherings at high-end venues that give partners the chance for deeper engagement, and to create thought-leadership in the shape of white papers crafted by an experienced journalist.
Distribution: Three days with a prominent position on the homepage, then to remain on the homepage for a week; five appearances in the Mumbrella newsletter; appearances on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn with boost on Facebook, too.
Categories: “Paid For” vs “Supported By”
All of our content falls into two categories, depending on how much editorial control you would like.
Supported by
Content produced by Mumbrella that is funded by a company or organisation. However, while the sponsor may suggest topics to cover, they cannot request changes and Mumbrella retains full editorial independence. The sponsor’s logo will appear around the piece, and it will be clearly marked as supported by.
This is ideal for companies or organisations that want to raise awareness of a topic or issue.
Paid for
Content created by Mumbrella that is funded by a company or organisation. While the piece may be written by Mumbrella, the sponsor will have the final say on a piece, and an agreed number of changes. The sponsor’s logo will appear around the piece, and it will be clearly marked at ‘Paid for by’.
The vast majority of our written pieces take this approach.
