Big media ideas to be pitched at Mumbrella360
Entrepreneurs with the next big media or technology idea are being invited to pitch them to potential investors at next month’s Mumbrella360.
The Crocodile Pit will see four startups from the media and tech sector put their idea live on stage to a panel of investors and experts.
The session is being curated by Innovation Bay, a not-for-profit organisation supporting innovation and networking in the local technology space.
The winner will get a follow-up meeting with the panelists along with a new Samsung Galaxy S5 phone. They will also be guaranteed a place at the next Innovation Bay Angel Dinner for investors.
Panellists are:
- Phil Morle – CEO of start-up factory Pollenizer
- Melissa Widner – General partner of early stage investment firm SeaPoint Ventures
- Ian Gardiner – Founder of Innovation Bay and Viocorp
- Tim Burrowes – Content director of mUmbrella
Entry is via a 90 second video pitch. Full details of how to enter are available on the Innovation Bay website via this link. All four shortlisted pitchers will receive a free two-day pass to all of Mumbrella360, which takes place at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney on June 4 and 5. They will also be offered pitch training in advance of the session.
