The team will focus on helping Ipsos’ clients create high performing and innovative workplaces that are ‘future fit’, as workplace dynamics continue to change.

The practice’s specific team of research specialists and platform developers will continue to be led by Matthew Pickett, director, XM technology, who has been delivering large and complex employee experience programs for more than a decade.

McInnes said: “Employees are at the heart of business success and our specialism in employee experience means that Ipsos is now able to provide clients with the most advanced research and advisory solutions in the areas of employee experience, workplace culture, leadership and change management.”

Simon Wake, Ipsos ANZ’s CEO, said: “Wendy, Matt and Colin’s credentials are impeccable, with more than 30 years’ experience in advising both government and commercial clients on data-led employee insights, driving employee engagement and performance.”

Last month, Ipsos Australia acquired Big Village Australia with the aim of enhancing its position in market.

Wake said at the time: “This acquisition will help grow Ipsos’ operational expertise in the Australian market with highly complementary skillsets in data collection, government, social and customer experience research and important new expertise in employee experience.”
