BMF wins creative account for Blundstone

BMF has been appointed as the creative agency of record for Australian boot brand Blundstone, following a competitive pitch process.

The agency has already been tasked with creating a campaign for Blundstone’s consumers, distributors and retailers to celebrate its upcoming 150th birthday in 2020.

BMF ECD Alex Derwin said: “Blundstone is such an iconic Aussie brand with an amazing product that has proven to be tough [enough] to conquer the world, comfortably. We’re itching to support this iconic brand in throwing one hell of a 150th birthday bash… and we’re inviting the whole world along to celebrate.”

Blundstone global head of brand for design and consumer engagement, Adam Blake, stated: “We’ve been preparing for this celebration for some time now, 150 years is an incredible achievement for any brand and we have a lot of people to thank for that. We’re excited to work with the team at BMF, throughout the process they demonstrated not just a great understanding of our brand but also a clear approach to global communications.”

In March, BMF won Tourism Tasmania’s creative account. At the same time, Clemenger BBDO Sydney won its digital account.
