News Limited, publisher of print and online brand body+soul today launches the first ‘lifestyle balance check’ designed especially for people working in media agencies.

News Magazines, Group Editorial Director, Karen McCartney said, “The body+soul brand has been inspiring people to live healthier lives for over 10 years and is a weekly resource for expert health, happiness and wellbeing advice.

“Built on the strength of the weekly Sunday newspaper lift-out, body+soul recently launched its own website and a special issue newsstand glossy.

“And now we want to take the brand even further by tapping into the expertise of the body+soul team to develop an online lifestyle balance check, especially for people working in media agencies who are conscious about achieving the right mix between work and play.

“With the content we produce each week and now daily online, we felt body+soul is extremely well positioned to help make a difference. This is about helping people in agencies strike a healthy balance in their often hectic lifestyles.

Garth Agius, Group Marketing Director – Advertising & Integration, said, “It’s the first time a survey of this kind has been conducted specifically for media agencies. It’ll cover the full spectrum of well-being from health through to relationships and provide people with a valuable picture of how they’re balancing the demands of working hard and living well.

“We’re extremely proud to bring this program to market, based on last year’s Young Lions winning idea from Eb Yusuf. The body+soul ‘lifestyle balance check’ will hopefully grow to become an annual pulse on the work/life balance of media agencies.

Eb Yusuf, Director of Strategy for OMD Melbourne commented, “It’s exciting to see this being executed! I think there’s a big appetite for something like this. Personally, I can’t wait to take the test!

Participants receive personalised lifestyle balance results, and agencies will receive an independent aggregated read of the agency’s overall results.

One agency will win a tailored Agency Day of Balance, specifically created for their office based on the results of the ‘lifestyle balance check’ to support the existing efforts being made to achieve a healthy, happy and balanced workplace.

The survey is available online at www.thinkspot.com.au/lifestylebalancecheck and as added incentive participants have the chance to share in $5,000 worth of David Jones vouchers. Results are strictly confidential and no individual information will be made public.
