Brisbane radio ratings: Nova 106.9’s Ash, Kip and Luttsy narrowly miss top breakfast slot

Despite increasing 1.8 ratings points since last survey, Nova 106.9’s Ash Bradnam, Kip Wightman and David ‘Luttsy’ Lutteral failed to knock ABC’s Craig Zonca off the top breakfast spot in Brisbane.

Ash, Kip and Luttsy rose to a 13.4% audience share, while Zonca just about held onto the top spot with a 13.5 share.

The Nova trio have firmly knocked Bianca, Terry and Bob’s 97.3FM show out of contention for breakfast leadership, after the 97.3 trio fell 1.9 ratings points to an 10.1% audience share, coming joint third with Triple M’s Greg Martin, Ed Kavalee and Robin Bailey.

In drive, Kate, Tim and Marty still remained in the top spot with a 17.6% audience share, despite yet another drop, this time of 0.6 points.

Hamish and Andy’s Hit 105 drive-time show rose from third to second, achieving a 11.5% audience share and a 0.3 point rise. They nabbed the second slot from Hughesy and Kate’s 97.3FM show, who hung onto the spot in survey five. Hughesy and Kate now hold the third drive slot with an audience share of 10.5.

Overall, Nova 106.9 FM continued to dominate market, with an overall audience share of 13.5%. Elsewhere, 97.3FM, HIT 105 and Triple M are closing in on each other, with 10.7%, 10.5% and 10.3% audience shares respectively.

On AM, ABC Brisbane’s breakfast win helped its overall audience share grow 0.2 points to 9.1%, ahead of 4KQ, which was up 0.9 points to 8.7%.

Macquarie Radio’s Talking Lifestyle 882 finished yet again with the lowest share of any station, down 0.4 points to 0.6%.
