Bullfrog rebuilds leadership team with new appointments
Independent creative agency Bullfrog has overhauled its executive leadership team, with three new appointments announced on Thursday.
The Melbourne-based agency, founded by Dalton Henshaw, has welcomed Georgia Newton as general manager, Mike Ronkoske as chief strategy officer, and Tim Shelley and chief brand and experience officer.
The new executive leadership team comes following several changes to the senior staff roster. Earlier this month, Phoebe Sloane joined as Bullfrog’s new creative director, after the departures of creatives Elle Bullen, Mike Doman, and Daniel Sparkes.
Former in-house agency manager at Honda Amanda Nicoll also joined as group business director, Madieson Ryan as an earned specialist from Great Wrap, VML’s Joy Hudson as senior business director, and Deloitte’s creative project manager Alex Weston as business director.

Additional executive leadership team appointments will be announced in the coming months.
Newton joins from Daniel’s Donuts where she was head of marketing. She also has creative agency experience under her belt, having held senior roles at Special Australia, Goodby Silverstein and Partners, and R/GA New york, where she worked with brands including Samsung, Verizon, Bonds, Coopers Brewery, and Chobani.
In a release, she described Bullfrog as a “rare mix of ambition and commercial clarity”.
“The team is world-class, and the momentum is undeniable,” she said. “We’re driven by talent, powered by insight, and grounded in the grit to deliver work that drives real growth. There’s serious potential in the building, and I’m excited to help unlock it.”
As the agency’s new chief strategist, Ronkoske will deliver a “fresh strategic approach for the next phase of growth”.
He said “joining Bullfrog just makes sense”.
He has over two decades of cultural and behavioural change experience across global agencies and consultancies across the US and Australia, including Neighbourhood Strategy, Clemenger BBDO, Goodby Silverstein and Partners, and Saatchi & Saatchi LA.
Finally, Shelley has been with Bullfrog for over three years working across creative, brand, and experience. He and Sloane will continue to work closely to lead the agency’s creative output.
“The energy in the pond right now is electric,” he said in the release. “We’ve built something special at Bullfrog over the past few years, and having the opportunity to shape what’s next alongside Georgia, Mike and the broader team is something I’m immensely proud to be part of.”
